I hope you don't mind me getting all biblical on you, I am a Christian after all. And I think I have a story that applies to everyone, and when you are finished with this blog will find something of value in it. It is the story of blind Bartimaeus; Matthew 10:46-51 (New Living Translation) 46 Then they reached Jericho, and as Jesus and his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him. A blind beggar named Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus) was sitting beside the road. 47 When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 “Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 When Jesus heard him, he stopped and said, “Tell him to come here.” So they called the blind man. “Cheer up,” they said. “Come on, he’s calling you!” 50 Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus. 51 “What do you want me to do for
There are many archetypes that have come down to us through the ages through our stories, but only a few directly talk in a meaningful way about the relationship between men and women through the lens of society and it's effects on personal behavior. Fortunately, the nearly complete and universal archetype is given us in the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast . It is an honest and open vision of the relationship between men and women and what has to happen to make it work, and how social forces can cripple this ability in a woman's heart. To study this, I want to use Villeneuve's version as he is the first one that wrote the story out, and he includes several details that are important to the story. I do, however, want to dismiss the mercantilist parts of the story since they only set up the important parts but add no important measures otherwise. The rest is all about us boys and girls. The story itself is much older according to Wikipedia and goes back as far as earl
There is a lot of femsplaining that goes on in the hallowed halls of social media and the internet. Way too many people, especially females, dismiss concerns like the ones I have. But let's put this all into perspective so that the gravity of the situation might become a little clearer for those SJWs who have been slow to keep up. There is an amazing "marriage gap" that has opened up over the last 20 years or so, and it is now reaching crisis proportions. It is made up of a sick blend of twisted social values and government policy, is in reality the core of the problem, and what I am really attempting to strike at. This issue involves everyone from Moscow to New York to Beijing. It turns out that today there are 70 million more men than women in China and India, due to the social preference for men over women-a habit that was never thought out while practiced. https://www.scmp.com/magazines/post-magazine/long-reads/article/2142658/too-many-men-china-and-india-b
